Today marks 10 years since Aaliyah's sudden death in a plane crash. I've paid tribute to her nearly every year since I've been blogging, so I won't retread memories of where I was and what I was doing. I will simply say this: The world a is less beautiful, vibrant and interesting place without Aaliyah in it, and it's sad that she's not here to show us just how beautiful, vibrant and interesting she could have become as a singer, actress and human being. Fortunately, we will always have her music and indelible image to remember her by.
