Trailer for Jordan Peele's 'Weird City' Promises Loads of WTF Fun

So, when does Jordan Peele sleep exactly? Between dropping the trailer for his next horror flick Us--which has the potential to thrust "I Got Five On It" into the hallowed status of a modern day standard--and prepping his Amazon series Lorena for release, and spearheading the return of The Twilight Zone, the writer/producer/director is also rolling out an anthology series on YouTube Premium.

A collaboration with Charlie Sanders, Weird City follows the lives of a colorful cast of oddballs living in Weird, a metropolis set in the not-too-distant future. The cast includes Levar Burton, Sara Gilbert, Laverne Cox, Rosario Dawson and Yvette Nicole Brown. Judging from the trailer--which, to this 90's kid, gives off strong Earthworm Jim vibes, despite starring humans--the series will use the gags about sex machines and assigned mates as an entry point to social commentary about the modern world.
