If you recognize the source of the words above, then you are going to love this post. For those who don't know, Courage The Cowardly Dog was/is (I'm not sure if it still comes on) a cartoon about a small dog named Courage who is adopted by a sweet old woman named Muriel and her no good husband Eustace, a couple regularly visited by a slew horrendous creatures and creepy characters (remember the episode when Muriel's cousin Fred came to visit?). It's basically Dr. Seuss meets Nightmare Before Christmas on acid.
But one of my all-time favorite Courage episodes was when Courage, Muriel and Eustace somehow got transported 1000 years into the future, into a world run by bananas, otherwise known as Banana Halla. Watch the hilarity unfold below. 6:50-7:25 has me dying every time.
