Yes my thoughts were like many gays across the land when I read the headlines. We already knew (or at least hoped)! You know a straight man wouldn't be poppin' and droppin that ass like lol! But then again, there are still folks who think Queen Latifah and Luther Vandross are straight! Mr. Martin was one of my young queen crushes, (and the subject of a very hot dream once, but that's a story for another time:). I remember the night at the Grammys when Madonna snuck up behind him and gave him a kiss. I'm sure Madge felt and sensed the rainbow waves instantly!
While some folks have tossed off his coming out as inconsequential, I think it will undoubtedly have an impact on his many Latino fans, as stated in a post by Lorenzo Herrera y Lozano. Good for him.
