The boys are back. The NYC-based duo of Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel dropped a new 12-inch vinyl single of their track "Anxious," a shimmering homage to the halcyon days of disco, on the iconic West End Records.

A towering presence in 70's-era New York City nightlife, the label is responsible for classic dancefloor gems like Loose Joints’ "Is it all Over My Face" Raw Silk’s "Do It To The Music." If you're unfamiliar with those songs, you've probably still gotten your life to them, as they've being sampled in countless pop and hip hop singles in the 90's and early aughts."Anxious" is the first original release to bear the label's album sleeve in over 30 years.

While "Anxious" bops fine enough on its own, the sequined cherry on top is the inclusion of disco legend Tom Moulton--inventor of the dance remix (no disrespect to Diddy) and the 12-inch single--who decided to crank out his own version of the track. The influential producer also sat down with the duo to lay out his personal musical philosophy. "I don't make dance music," he says at one point. "I make music you can dance to."

Holy Ghost! are currently playing select DJ dates and will unveil their new live show in January. A portion of proceeds from live dates and direct sales from the band's website will go towards Gay Men's Health Crisis and Lifebeat, a sexual safety advocacy group.
