Looks we'll all be getting some Grace in our face soon enough. Legendary singer/model/actress Grace Jones has announced plans to write her memoirs, signing a agreement with Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster. The book, which is currently untitled, is slated to come out next fall.
Some of the tales Jones plans to tell include rooming with Jerry Hall, hanging out with Jessica Lange, collaborating with Andy Warhol and acting alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger. Being the fanatic I am, I know she and Madonna had a few run-ins back in the day, so hopefully we'll get some vintage Madge memories, as well as a some Strange/Eartha Kitt/Eddie Murphy tea.
Also, I wonder if she'll give her thoughts on the younger generation of divas (Gaga, Rihanna, Nicki and the like) who've co-opted her androgynous, avant garde style. Shady minds want to know.
