Random Jam: Shalamar "This Is For The Lover In You"


For some reason, I've had this song stuck in my head all day, so I thought I'd be a pal and get it stuck in yours too. Does anyone else think a DJ mashing this up with Teddy Pendergrass's "Close The Door" would be a fiyah old school mix? Marinate on that and enjoy below.

ok so i was just listening to "close the door" and was like "this sounds like 'this is for the lover in you'!!"...i've been googling and wiki-ing n what not to see if shalamar sampled it, but there is no mention of that anywhere (i did, however, find your blog post lol).

the songs are VERY similar. gamble & huff could sue (and win) if they wanted to.
